Once, when we were both on Twitter I was @interceptsia. I posted a rather long piece that I identified as an excerpt from an as yet unpublished book. You suggested that I self publish and that you could be of assistance because, having done it yourself, you knew how it works. At the time I politely declined because I didn't have a complete manuscript ready. Now I do. In fact, I have three and am working on a fourth.
My current plan is to self publish the first one on Lulu (https://www.lulu.com/create) and use it as a prop to convince a real publisher to take interest in my other work. I'm 78 and not so healthy, so I'm running out of time. It's now or never.
My problem, and the reason I and help, is that while I'm fairly articulate in English, I don't code. To publish on Lulu I need to add some code to the manuscript. I don't know how to do that. Does your offer still stand? If so, I can send you a copy of the manuscript. The only way I know how to do that is an email attachment. What's the email address I should send it to?
What will it cost me? It can't be too much because I'm living on disability and rent control.
