A little visualization for the mind: number of HTTP requests hitting the reverse proxy for my forge, color-coded per classification (whether or not it's bots)

09/17: i take the forge down and put a static HTML page
09/25: i re-enable the forge reverse proxy with HTTP basic auth and disable the classifier
10/06 evening: i re-enable the classifier
10/07: HTTP basic auth is disabled

Bot traffic is basically gone. i get two, three obvious bot requests that aren't filtered per hour.
