this could be a good example of why small biz may want to go with dual nas, they could both fail but that is why you have some compressed backups

flash or solid state nme drives fail too but with no moving parts I have a bit more confidence and of course with the hw bubble it is more of a crapshoot now - not as clear cut from perf/value standpoint. I think mtbf is less for solid state generally, prices for all storage are so inflated it makes it tough, small biz doesn't really have choice - they have to pay the ai tax
