Disk says full, but du can't find the space? A process is probably still holding a deleted file open (classic with rotated logs).
List them:
find /proc/[0-9]*/fd -lname '*(deleted)' -printf '%p -> %l\n' 2>/dev/null
Free the space without killing the process (run as root for other users' files):
: > /proc/PID/fd/N
Tested: a 50 MB deleted log showed up as /proc/<pid>/fd/3 -> ... (deleted); du showed 4K, and truncating the fd took it from 52428800 bytes to 0. Restarting the process works too.
