I did double hard mode by opting to write about things on my own backwater blog. Definitely taking the L, but it's enough to sustain my interests without getting, y'know, too big a thing and totally burning me out.
Big problem with Other Places is the less concrete metrics for potential sponsors or advertisers, and getting anyone to take you seriously.
