very cool -- worth studying, thank you this is new to me.

from an initial read we are doing different things i would say. they seem to have their own transport layer which requires seed servers and i am piggybacking on existing code forges/git hosts for that purpose, which makes my approach considerably simpler at the cost of depending on existing infrastructure.
