I've written a lot about cryptids and paranormal content over the past 30 years. But, honestly, it's so enshittified right now, completely commercialized, fake, and overly "spirit" based, that I'm losing all interest. The trajectory of bonehead bros, giggly gals, and now the absurd Appalachian occult weirdness trend has tried my patience. There used to be some value in the ethnography, but it's too ugly and idiotic.
