Oh how I remember. It came out, and Ashes to Ashes got a lot of airtime.
My Bowie enthusiasm was waning already (a bit) after Lodger (highs and lows, that album). Tried to embrace Scary Monsters and put in the effort, but failed. Then Let’s Dance came and did its thing, but somehow it never got deep again.
Excuse me while I put “Five Years” on repeat now.
