There are no lions in Cambodia. There have never been lions in Cambodia, but lions are important in some Hindu myths that were imported from India, so there are statues of lions in all of the temples I visited today.
The thing is....
All of the lions have huge badonkadonk butts. 🤣
I have to wonder if some ancient scribe was messing with all of the artists, or maybe the artist just thought to himself, "do you know what this lion needs? A giant booty!"
