"content": "26 years ago, a new species of predatory fish was found fossilized in New Zealand. Now it has finally been identified, thanks to donated notebooks. In 1999, paleontologist Richard Köhler found a mummified fossil fish embedded in a remote New Zealand cliff. He walked 3 kilometres to borrow a ladder, hauled the fish out in heavy blocks of rock, brought it to Otago University, but died before telling others the location, needed to catalogue the find.
