Didn’t realize the bug was this old — every version of PHP since v5 in 2004 is affected. That’s 22 years this has been sitting there, probably exploited by some TLAs.
Glad they’re fixing it, hopefully dreamhost will apply patches as soon as they’re made available. (I suspect they will, as will all the other hosting providers)
