"content": "I went scouting for wildlife along the east coast of Vancouver Island today for my upcoming photo tours during the herring spawn. \n\nSteller sea lions are starting to show up, I observed them catching fish near the shore. \n\nBald eagles are back too, calling each other from tree tops. Soon they'll start to build a nest.
