the google 4gb model thing downloaded with every chrome install really is just a symptom of every 2026 program thinking your main C: drive is just a generic usr/lib usr/bin random free space they can use for literally whatever
i have like one big game on my main drive at this point and i keep having to find stuff to delete or move to other drives because then something will try to create yet another overambitious shader cache or download temp file and it will not find the 30 gigs it wants and silently crash
