I have concluded that except some rare cases, they are psychopathic idiots that are supported willingly or not by the masses that "just want live their lives" and "be normal" . The long term plans are simple. Keep the authority and the money. The other plans usually are 6 months to a couple of years plans. There is no olan B. The tricky part is that they "hire" other people to do the job. These people are the problem. They are just faithful dogs mostly, but sometimes they have talent. Some of those with a talent might even come up with long term plans, like Kissinger, so that other faithful dogs to follow.
This is not unbreakable, it is just difficult for the masses to see beyond their individual nose
