For example, my TV has "dynamic audio" which self adjusts louder and quieter. It made orchestral music, with its long quiet sections and sudden loud outbursts very poor sounding. I turned that off as soon as I discovered it. I have no idea if the other listener has the same issue (or is even watching it on something like a TV). Just pointing out that it can certainly exist.
