Signal is secure software.
It is, however, not reliable software.
It has bugs like all software, but it also has deliberate anti-features that make it less reliable. The worst of these is that it cripples itself and refuses to function if it isn't updated frequently enough. This always frustrates me.
I'd probably switch to another, less secure, app if it weren't for the contacts and communities I have on Signal. And Signal-the-org prevents forks and alternatives...
Nobody's perfect!
