I posted earlier about how there was a greater-than-usual amount of talk about Gordon Lightfoot on my feed today, wondering why (and considering that the mere fact of it being November might have something to do with it).
Well, I just found out that the wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald didn't just happen in November, it happened on the 10th... and it was in 1975, exactly 50 years ago.
Okay, 50th anniversary means it makes way more sense!
(Also, RIP those 29 sailors. 🫡)
