Continuing with my renewed hobby of sewing baby clothes this summer, I just finished this little 3T set with turtles on it for the toddler of one of my grad students. Only two more 1T sets to go, and I will have caught up to all the babies born in our department since I gave up sewing a few years ago. I didn't make any obvious spatial rotation mistakes on this set. We're going to pretend that the puckering along the sleeves is an intentional little ruffle, and not because this is cheap super-stretchy fabric that maybe was supposed to be ribbing in the first place. Two of the turtles on the shirt are swimming on from the edge of the shirt because that's how much turtle was available on the piece I cut the appliques from.
