Does feel like they're taking the wrong approach figuring a simple age barrier is enough without dealing with the problems of social media affecting everyone. The trouble with their solution is akin to needing to provide photo ID that they'll keep a copy of and allowing them to keep a photograph they took of you just to get into a place which sells tobacco products regardless of if you'll be buying any or not. Simplifying that by providing that info automatically isn't a solution either because it's still fundamentally a huge overreach.

The social media is the problem, clean the social media first or will it just be like the tobacco industry where their wealth allows them to keep selling and it's the people who need to adjust?
