I've decided to give getting an ADHD diagnosis another go. I've had a chat with a psychiatry provider that seems to indicate they don't need require my parents' permission (sarcasm but not really) to diagnose me.
I spent several thousand on appointments last year when I tried last year to get a diagnosis, and to be honest walked away with absolutely nothing to show for it.
Hopefully this time is a little bit better - if not I guess I'm resigned to feeling how I feel!
