I have catnip in my vegetable garden and it just appears every spring because it produces seeds in the fall.

I don't mind having one or two catnip plants but it can really get out of control. So this summer I've been cutting the flowers off of the plants whenever I see them thinking "no flowers no seeds"

Do you know that these plants are like hydra? where ever I removed the flowers two bunches grew in their place.

I have created a catnip seed bush with maximal seeds in the minimum area.
