I have grown passiflora vines in my front & back gardens in the past knowing they are the host plant for the fritillary butterfly. But there have been past years with no passiflora on my property where I’ve seen many more fritillary than this year. They’ve always been attracted to my other flowers especially zinnias, and I do have an abundance of those blooming right now. But very few fritillaries visiting.
