"content": "This week is all about preparation. The crew is training for sailing and for the many situations that can arise at sea: from safety drills and emergency procedures to first aid, rescue techniques and communication. Working together as a team, staying calm under pressure and knowing exactly what to do when it matters are essential for keeping everyone safe, both our crew and the people we may encounter at sea.\n\nMeanwhile, the #EU continues to tighten its borders, and less attention is being paid to the human rights situation in the #Mediterranean. But the racist, increasingly restrictive laws and borders do nothing to change the many reasons people have for fleeing.
