Something that mildly annoys me is when someone takes data, say from a planet or the electrical impulses from a mushroom and they feed it into a synth and say 'you're hearing a mushroom/planet'. You're not. You're hearing one form of data or electricity randomly shoved into something else. There are virtual instruments that produce fart sounds, if you fed this shit into one of them would you say that's the sound of Saturns rings or a black hole? No, because its fart sounds triggered by an input.
