Arvo, Toots. Another day of not much getting done.
It's just enough damp here that if I attempt any gel printing, it won't dry well. Ditto with the glueing I need to do for my next round of Artists Books (I save a lot of cardboard packets, and glue them cross-ply as book board - not archival, but for my purposes, cheap and cheerful. I'm here for a good time, not a long time!)
Nice to have those drops of rain, but barely enough to register in the gauge: BOM says 0.2mm, we might get more tomorrow?
I'm re-thinking part of our scheduled workshop for Artists Books group if so; we were starting with an observation walk in the park, taking our sketchbooks before a mark-making adventure led by one of the group.
And so to the photo: from my recent Canberra trip. In Telopea Park, I saw these huge gum leaves. Bigger than my feet, and lying in clumps.
Now, I don't know how many of you were raised on "Seven Little Australians"? But I will NEVER sit under a gum tree!
Great leaves, though.
