A friend told me they were afraid they might have COVID, so I asked if they had access to Paxlovid.
They had never heard of it.
We are in a science-positive, rich information bubble here in the Fediverse -- that does not represent the world at large.
(My friend has since tested and is fine; I send them Paxlovid info for future reference.)
