At that point with stress that for a distraction I have downloaded the AliExpress app and am randomly clicking things to see what the algorithm does.
So far it has figured out that I like cats and mechanical keyboard keycaps, and in spite of everything else I am clicking on those are coming through strong.
Hilariously, I have bought one fountain pen and the algorithm seems to have decided one is enough and isn't showing me more fountain pens. Which for most things would be the desired behaviour, but who only buys one fountain pen really?
