"content": "Scientists have mapped a 7,000-year-old landscape of rivers, lakes and beaches buried beneath the southern Great Barrier Reef. A University of Queensland-led team spent 24 days aboard the research vessel Investigator, pulling more than 20 sediment cores to reconstruct the coastal plain that existed before rising seas drowned it, working alongside Darumbal and Woppaburra Traditional Owners whose knowledge of the submerged country predates the science. https://oceanographicmagazine.com/news/researchers-map-ancient-world-beneath-southern-barrier-reef/\n#ShareGoodNewsToo",
