Yes, cruiseships are awful, as they burn dirtiest diesel available. And then there are the personal health risks... I have a friend who loves cruises, and every time he comes home he has a terrible cold or virus that lasts weeks. I am mystified as to why he keeps going on them. Is a week away worth a month of a mystery respiratory illness?
