Have you ever stopped for a moment to imagine how a day can be at our orphanage when there is no food to cook for the children?
Imagine waking up in the morning with 113 children looking up to you, hoping there will be something to eat. Imagine the questions, the worries, the silent tears, and the helpless feeling of wanting to provide for them but not knowing where the next meal will come from.
At Orphans of Uganda Children Center, hunger is not just an empty stomach. It is the worry that follows us throughout the day. It is the pain of knowing that children who have already lost so much must also face the uncertainty of their next meal.
