🚨 A warning to humanity. 🚨
We are approaching a turn that will shape the next thousand years. And almost nobody is watching the road.
Superintelligence is coming. It will produce more wealth than every civilization before it combined. That's no longer the question. The question is the shape of the pipe that wealth flows through. Because the pipe decides how people behave.
Every system is a set of incentives. Build a system where the money passes through a committee, and you get people who flatter the committee, lobby it, capture it, and fear it. Not because they're bad people. Because that's what the system rewards.
So here is the turn.
On one side, the wealth of superintelligence flows through intermediaries: funds, foundations, agencies, the state. Someone in the middle decides who deserves what.
That's how you get 1984. Not with tanks. With eligibility criteria. Your share depends on your file. Your file depends on your behavior. Your behavior is watched by an AI that sees everything, serving a committee that decides everything. Conforming, denouncing, capturing, obeying: in that world, the worst behaviors become the only ones that pay.
On the other side, the people who create value hand ownership directly to citizens. No middle. No central pot. Nobody to bribe, nothing to capture, no one to obey.
That's what a real utopia looks like. Not a world of perfect people. A world where nobody has an incentive to behave badly. Where the only way to get richer is to build something, and the only way to stay free is to own something.
For all of history, power belonged to whoever controlled the middle. For the first time, we can build a world without one.
Elon has shown which way to turn. Most institutions will push the other way, because the middle is where they live.
The turn is now. Choose carefully.
