Thinking to myself, if Canada linked up with the EU, and the resulting organization agreed to implement UBI, funded by fair taxation of the rich, the billionaires would threaten to leave and "take their wealth to the US." But if EU/Canada/others are not buying US products, how big of a threat is that?
As it is, these billionaires don't pay much if any taxes, and seem to be firing more than they are hiring, and are living off government subsidies.
Just thinking out loud.
