I did add the disclaimer that I had only done this with smaller class sizes, larger classes I will have to figure out how to do it. On AI use - this year in each assignment I asked students to declare if they opted to use AI and if so to explicitly note what they did and how they used it.
(One assignment had them handwrite equations and derivation - even if they copied, I figure that act of handwriting had at least some effect)
