Also unrelated, I'm sad to say that I got a bee in my bonnet to play some Spinal Tap, and upon reviewing the lyrics, there's just no way I can perform this stuff live.
Specifically, I always liked “Tonight I'm Gonna Rock You Tonight”, which is a hilarious satire of over the top machismo in rock.
But playing it to an audience that's not in on the joke would not go well. I stand by my "hilarious satire" comment while also acknowledging it is deeply, patently offensive.
