#ScribesAndMakers How do you answer if someone asks you what you do? Is your answer different in person than it is online?

First, people rarely talk to me.

Second, it almost always refers to work that I’m paid for rather than work that I love. This is also usually followed with, ‘Do you have children?’

Being unemployed and childless means I’m generally perceived as a freak.
