What country is this?
Yet another example of why I think it is a good idea to have as little equity in your house/property as possible. Take out every bit of equity and convert it to bitcoin. Now if the state, courts (or whoever) come to take it..it's not your problem, it's the bank's. Let them have it, you already took all the value out of it and have it safely stored in bitcoin.
