Looks like EDF is adapting to the jellyfish issue in the North Sea / English Channel. Below is the current situation. From 1.5 units running, we're back to 2.5 units. Two units (1820 MWe combined) remain offline due to the jellyfish issue, unit five has been under maintenance and has been offline since June.
The other coastal sites at Penly (two units), Paluel (four units) and Flamanville (three units) run without jellyfish issues. But that of course doesn't generate headlines.
