yeah, maybe. I can still explain almost everything as broken incentives and incompetence. Also as complete mind capture - when you talk to vaccine-lovers within the system it's clear that they fully believe everything they're saying. In most of the conversations I have, I see maddening dogmatism but not outright malice.
However, I'm keeping an open mind on motives, especially at different levels of power.
Sometimes I'm not sure it even matters. The effect was/is evil and the capture of people's minds is astonishing.
