Oh dear. One of those days where I am grateful for Mastodon's ability to mute someone for a specific period. Some of my friends scroll through their feed rapidly boosting everything on a particular topic, which means that I get spammed with the world's opinion on Hot Topic Of The Day. And that I have to scroll through several screen's worth of Hot Topic before I find conversation I'm actually interested in; or even not interested in but at least it's not Hot Topic. Someone got muted this morning because they would Not. Shut. Up. about the by-election. My dearly beloved friend, I know you are very pleased that your party won. You do not need to tell us this thirty times in two minutes.
