At the end of the 1960s, Yukio Ota imagined a unique constructed language based on pictogram construction called The Lovers Communication System. A system simple and easy, like the communication between two lovers.

While this attempt at a new way of communication stayed at the prototype stage, Yukio Ota was indeed visionary; symbols and pictograms have become an important part of our daily language over the past sixty years.
