Here's a thought...
Midge is an early MG5 EV and so has a slow charger that doesn't communicate well with some public chargers.
There are people doing electric car conversions who pick and choose batteries, chargers, and motors form different cars and make them all work together.
Is there anyone who has changed an old charger/charging system for a modern charger that is faster, communicates better, and offers vehicle to load/grid options on an older EV?

That would be the sort of thing that would mean I wouldn't be looking for a replaement EV that can be a house battery back up in emergencies.
