GM! Buildings of Heraklion, capital of Crete. Many buildings have an Italian vibe because the island was Venetian for more than 450 years. After that the island was taken by the Ottoman Empire, and Heraklion suffered a 21 years siege, one of the longest sieges in history. The city and the whole island were called Candia back then. #greece #photography
