You are right. That’s why Oracle declared force majeure to try to protect themselves from data center payments when they can’t turn the lights on. They don’t believe that a data center being built for them will have power by the contracted 2028 delivery. Thats more than a year from now. They’re all discovering how technically ambitious these data centers are, and how the existing power grids are not robust enough to deliver the power even if they can find enough.
