Yes, I have it connected to the main router via an ethernet cable. I figured that was the easiest and most reliable method anyway.
I can connect to the repeater from laptop, phone, etc. via wifi just fine. However, the repeater is an open wifi without password protection. I would like to establish password protection for the repeater.
