The Resident Doctors are taking a hardline on restoring their (real) wages to 2008 levels, with strikes starting this month.
Its likely to get pretty fraught & certainly the RDs are gambling (likely rightly) that they are more popular than the Govt., and can make a good case for their centrality to the health service.
We can also expect a lot of media stress about 'greedy doctors' & assertions they're putting the lives of patients at risk... it will get ugly!
