For a while I've been thinking about the Gaza genocide as Israel doing murder-suicide. The last few days feel like they're really leaning hard into the suicide part now. I don't think they can survive a war with Iran. They're high on their own impunity. They've faced scrappy guerilla resistance and postcolonial states dependent on foreign arms. Iran engineered and builds its own arms and has 8.5x the population of Israel. They're hitting Tel Aviv with success.
