Imagine a guy who wins the lottery and becomes a billionaire. He starts posting videos about his life, his routines, his "wisdom", and teaches others about success.
Would you pay attention, follow him, and try to implement his advice into your life? Probably not.
But when it comes to real life, you do follow such people and try to implement their advice.
There is more to what Elon Musk says that made him successful. There was a huge element of luck in his success. There are thousands of other people who have similar principles and similar routines, but none of them are trillionairs. Elon has won the lottery.
There is more to what Ronnie Coleman says that made him Mr. Olympia. There was huge element of genetic luck in his success. There are thousands of people who do exactly what Ronnie did, but none of them are Olympias. Ronnie has won the lottery.
That obsession with "the best" is what actually holds you mediocre. You are not Elon Musk and you are not Ronnie Coleman. And you will never be.
If you choose to learn and understand the underlying principles that create success instead of parroting, it will give you much more chances to win the lottery. The only way to win your lottery is to play it your way.
Life is a lottery and whoever wins was lucky. The fact that you had to buy the tickets while others were masturbating doesn't remove the element of luck. There are people who buy tickets their entire lives and win nothing.
Use your brain. Explore the world. And be grateful for everything.
