* the Tory wipe-out continued, with most, but not quite all, of their remaining seats going to the Lib Dems
* Labour lost a number of seats, as they do when there's a right-wing Labour government, but, unlike last time, under Blair, when they went to the Lib Dems, this time they've gone to the Greens[#]
* Reform?? Who dat??
[#] When I was first elected in 2000 the then leader of the council explained to me that when the two dinosaur parties (Labour and Tories) eventually finished dying out the real threat would come from the Greens.
