Tonight's Christmas present #whisky is this 12 year old from GlenAllachie, who are based just outside Aberlour. A very smooth Speyside which has been finished in Sauternes casks, which is something I've had from other distillers too and has always worked out well. Natural colour, not chill filtered, nice mouth feel and flavour, and an excellent finish. Not cheap mind you but an excellent dram.
