I also really like the books ending and all the points it raises in a few pages, but that's something you can do in a book that is hard to translate to screen... (you'd have to characterize some people for the scene to be meaningful - at least Lobelia, Lotho and Robin Smallburrow, and have a lengthy explanation of what happened)
